Where I Am
by Elizabeth I. Rintala

If only you would know
Where I am,
I never asked to be.

If you would know the pain of
Where I am,
How I pray, you'll never feel.

You are so use to my being
Where I am,
You are, but never me.

See my confusion, my anguish
Where I am,
I am lost, please find me.
