The cold chill runs
down my spine.
I begin to feel guilty
like I committed a crime.
It’s in the base
of my head.
As the rhythm pounds
how I wish I was dead.
Louder it comes on
like the beating of a hammer.
Trapped in class
with all this clammer.
I swear if he
shouts one more time,
I might as well
go and lose my mind.
The nails pierce
my brain.
I can't stand
much more of this pain.
It’s gone at last.
What hell this has been.
Finally its past.
Just in time for another to begin.
