Medical terminology can be extremely confusing. Rather than avoiding it, it's beneficial to us to learn the terms we're likely to hear from our doctors.

Conjunctival Injuection: forcing of fluid into the conjuctiva, the mucous membrane that lines the eyelids.

Example: The eyes can appear swollen and red if you have cluster headaches or hemicrania continua because of conjunctival injection.
