Putting Our Heads Together
Poetry Contest, 2012

Placing Poems

I have to say that this was the toughest year we've ever had in judging the entries. We've been over and over them, and I'm still not happy. The reason for that is a good one. There are so many wonderful entries that it was excruciatingly difficult to select "winners." All of the poems are wonderful, and everyone who entered should be quite proud of their work.

To each and every one of you, thank you, and congratulations!

First Place:
A Picture of Pain
by Bear Peterson

Second Place:
Heading to Me - Ow
by Jamie

Third Place:
Power Play
by Laura K. Patterson

Fourth Place:
In All the Years
by STM

Fifth Place:
Alice in Migraine Land
by Sheri L. Tardio

Honorable Mention:

Dinner and a Movie by Eric Segaard
